Two years ago, celebrated aviation in Sweden 100 years of air shows across Gärdet in Stockholm and on Malmslätt in Linköping. This year, it's time again. The military aviation in Sweden is 100 years old and Saab AB celebrating 75 years as aircraft manufacturers. Military Aviation in Sweden began with the so-called "Bryggarkärran" a Nyrop Blériot 3 bought in 1911. The machine was designed by an English modification of the Blériot XI, called "Big Bat" and was the shipyard third aircraft construction (Nyrop 3). The plane was two-seater and chairs were placed next to each other. In Sweden, the name "Aero Planet No. 1" or "kiddy". Neumüller donated the aircraft to the maritime defense "for reconnaissance at sea." Neumüllers gift of "Aero Planet No. 1" came to be called "Bryggarkärran". The machine was handed over to the Navy in December, becoming the first Swedish defense aircraft. On February 3, 1912 flew Olle Dahl Beck for the first time in military auspices of this aircraft. The launch took place from Värtans ice on the island Stora Skraggen.
