BAe, you know where the UK company that owns Hagglunds have put in an offer on band airborne vehicles for the British FRES program. September, one would think? Nope, it became combat 90! Why, one might ask whether now September is so darn good? The company plans to Minimise costs, meet the tight delivery schedule al jazeera english livestation and align with the UK Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV) Strategy published in June by using a low-risk manufacturing approach tests with all five CV90 export customers. Good news however for Örnsköldsviks population even though it is not September al jazeera english livestation as quoted. In total there are about up to 1300 vehicles, of course, be used in Afghanistan. I suspect there is more chance for BAe Hagglunds to win the British FRES contract than it is for them to win the Swedish contract when it kicks off again. The chassis will be built at the company's Existing production line at Örnsköldsvik in Sweden. The Scout turret and UK mission fit of all variants will be integrated onto the chassis in the UK, preserving jobs and the key skills for incidental continue to support British Army operations One does bits from the existing CV9035, building a new tower with 40 mm cannon, to reach the requirements of low cost and high reliability. Apparently so did BAe to September could not meet any of these. It has perhaps learned from the Swedish contract?
FM was before his surroundings when they went for 40mm cannon to strf90. At the same time, the standard armament for various IFVs under 30mm. The famous 'reuse' - mentality met for once right into the goal! Reply Delete
Anonymous 14:44 The version of September offered the original FRES deal was wheeled. Same as was eliminated by Patria AMV in the Swedish business. September is also the band cage version. But select BAe wise to bet on the proven concept CV90. Reply Delete
FRES is a large project consisting of a variety of contracts to replace existing vehicles. On that September al jazeera english livestation was with and where GM won, but lost the contract, have not yet been converted. For the project which quoted CV90 so was never a candidate in September. Reply Delete
Someone once said that if the country does not manufacture buy, buy no. Is that true? Are there any good examples of heavier al jazeera english livestation military matriel with good export credentials NOT purchased by manufacturing country? Reply Delete
Anonymous 12:43 I would say most of the recent trend in Russian fighter jet. Su-30 is such not breddden in Russia who still have Su-27 main armament. They have bought a few copies and supported the development, but it is exports that enabled the industry survived Russia's military deep slump. Now that the Russians have money again, maybe it will change. Maybe something for the Swedish defense to study unless the ISP puts a stop to all for aggressive international
